forgiveness.

so every once in awhile a rock star is the one saying something instead of me. but usually whatever they say is much more eloquent and profound than the word vomit i generally produce. this is what was said:
"today i was sincerely forgiven by another person who I hurt worse than anyone I've ever hurt. that kind of thing changes your insides."
wow.
now i don't know if this particular artist is a believer in Christ or not but what an incredible example of grace given and a life impacted. i find it refreshing, too, that it was an example of being shown forgiveness and not showing someone forgiveness. in those two simple sentences, the humility is so loud it's almost deafening.
