remember a few months back when i told you that i was going to interview some bands for indie vision and i was really excited about it and i asked for help with questions and no one gave me any but i came up with some pretty stellar questions (if i do say so myself) all on my own?

i occasionally write for a site called indie vision music doing album reviews and concert reviews and have recently forayed into interviews. it has been SO MUCH FUN. i have learned a lot about the artists i have interviewed beyond the music they make. i have also learned a lot about myself...like when i am in the same room with handsome men whose attention is focused on me my hands start to noticeably shake (which is awesome and not embarrassing at all) and i laugh way too much to come across as sane (it's really neat listening to yourself sound like a fool on a recording while you type out the interview).
but all in all it's been a delight to get to meet some bands on a different level than being a fan. not that there's anything wrong with being a fan but i would always rather be a friend than a fan, it's a weird hang up i've had since i was 12. and obviously i make them all take a selfie with me because i'm a total professional.
